We wanted to redesign a section of our garden to provide a low maintenance colourful border. Elaine undertook a comprehensive survey and produced a design matching our requirements which was refined after further discussions. She then made a planting plan for the trees, bushes, and flowers which would fit well within the new border. Landscapers suggested by Elaine put in a new fence, made new garden steps and cultivated the border ready to receive the new plants. Throughout the project Elaine was very thorough and made sure that everything went smoothly to our satisfaction. All costs were clearly identified and discussed in advance. We would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone wanting to improve the design of their garden including plant selection.

We chose Elaine to completely revamp our garden. This included a new layout, replacing a lawn, specifying new plants, shrubs and trees, dealing with procurement, and project managing the heavy project work, which was done by an external company. Meticulous plans of 'before' and 'after' were produced, together with material specifications at a detailed level. As important as her excellent imaginative design skills, Elaine is a plant expert, and chose flora which would meet our requirements of low maintenance, whilst ensuring a variety of colour throughout the year. It is now an enchanting haven in which to spend lockdown (Q1/2020) Thoroughly recommended without any reservation.

Twenty five percent of our garden was unusable hidden behind overgrown ivy and decaying decking. It has been transformed with a stunning studio, beautiful patio and gorgeous planting. Elaine’s attention to detail ensured we got the perfect finish.

Having spent many years unhappy with our garden due to the lack of patio where the sun reaches and a small garden wall that made the garden feel smaller, we contacted Elaine to come to our rescue. Elaine spoke to us about our requirements, our likes and dislikes and what we expected from the design and then came up with a proposed design. After only a few tweaks we agreed the design and Elaine recommended companies to quote for the construction. The garden is now complete and despite it being Winter we are thrilled with it and looking forward to seeing the new plants blossom in the Spring.

Having moved to a new build we needed someone to design our garden to give it more character and colour. Elaine worked with us to come up with a design that we were happy with as well as a planting plan and we then chose a landscaper who she had recommended. Elaine then liaised with the landscaper, organised the timing and delivery of plants and the end product was delivered exactly to the specifications in the plan. We are delighted with the end result and would highly recommend Elaine.

Elaine did a fantastic job with our garden. She listened to what was important to us, discussed a number of ideas, and ultimately came up with a design that is beautiful and functional. Having spent 12 months completely refurbishing our house the last remaining job was the rear garden.
After contacting Elaine we had an initial consultation to give her our ideas & what we eventually wanted to achieve. Elaine was a mine of information & offered excellent advice on all aspects of our garden from building works, trees, planting & finishes.
After engaging Elaine she carried out a full & thorough site survey, including taking datum levels & bounced some other ideas off of us & a plan started to form.
Drawings promptly arrived & we had a follow up meeting to carry out some very minor tweaking & the drawings were quickly revised.
The drawings were first class, showed all details & it was very easy to see what the finished garden would look like.
I must say that we were very impressed with the whole process & Elaine was very easy to work with & quickly grasped what we really wanted to achieve & put the whole scheme very clearly onto paper.
Elaine recommended an excellent landscaping company who we went on to use & they carried out a first class job throughout that we were very pleased with.
Elaine made site visits during the whole garden redevelopment to liase with the landscapers.
We have kept in touch with Elaine over a year after the garden was finished mainly for expert advice on some plants & her aftercare advice has been invaluable.

Our garden has always been a challenge for us to manage because of the layout and position of the plot. Elaine spent time studying the existing site and we had a long discussion about what would be easy and practical for us to manage. Following this, Elaine designed a beautiful garden for us that will allow us to use all our available space. She has taken into consideration all our requirements, and has worked with us to create a practical, easy to manage space where both children and adults can enjoy being outside.
