The children had grown up and moved on and this once-loved family space was crying out to be repurposed. With working from home the norm, and space in the house limited, an office in the garden was a priority.
The far end of the plot, which had become cluttered and neglected, is now home to a smart new office, tucked behind two existing apple trees. The view from the desk is of a tranquil paved seating area for a break from work, or relaxing in the evening, surrounded by low maintenance textural planting for year-round interest.
